One of the biggest strengths of the crypto market has always been the multitude of innovative and diverse projects that make it up. The Reserve Protocol and its token RSR are among them.
The project aims to create a decentralized and inflation-resistant world reserve currency that would not be pegged to any fiat money. That sounds like a great goal, definitely in line with the principles for which we all love blockchain.
In this article, as we explore Reserve Rights price prediction, we will look at the expected Reserve Rights prices in 2022 and beyond.

What Is the Reserve Protocol?
The Reserve Protocol is a decentralized system aiming to create truly decentralized stablecoins that can stand the test of time and resist inflation.
The main idea behind the project is the creation of baskets of tokenized assets that can serve as alternative pegs for crypto assets. The contents of those baskets haven’t been decided yet, but according to the creators’ plans, they won’t include a single fiat currency in the future.
How Does the Reserve Protocol Work?
The Reserve Protocol uses smart contracts to facilitate the creation of stablecoins for anyone, anywhere, anytime. The process is also (relatively) quick and easy as it has been streamlined to make the project more accessible.
The protocol has a dual-token structure. The first one is RSV — a stablecoin, currently backed by 1/3 USDC, 1/3 TUSD, and 1/3 PAX. It serves as a potential hedge in case any of its underlying crypto assets have any issues. RSV supports the tokens built using the protocol.
The project always keeps this stablecoin at exactly $1: if it goes above that mark, some tokens will be sold. And if it goes below it, some RSV will be bought using tokenized assets or the protocol’s other token, RSR.
What Is the Reserve Rights Cryptocurrency?
Reserve Rights is a cryptocurrency created to stabilize the Reserve Protocol. As an ERC-20 token, it is based on the Ethereum blockchain. RSR has two principal uses for the protocol. Firstly, it acts as a governance token. Secondly, through staking, RSR serves as insurance for Reserve stablecoins, also called RTokens.
Unlike many other staking protocols, RSR is fully trustless and is built to last. Newcomers don’t have to pay for early participants, which makes this staking system a lot more viable in the long run.
